How to create a dashboard

To create a table (assuming your database is connected), simply describe what you want to the chatbot.

2. Add it to a dashboard



From the chat



Non-technical user

To add a table or graph to a dashboard from the chat as a non-technical user, simply click the options button on the top right of the table or graph, and click "Add to Dashboard"

Technical user

To add a table to the dashboard from the chat as a technical user, click the "Options" button on the top right of the table that the chatbot returned and click "Add table to dashboard". Finally, name your table and click the "Add to dashboard" button in the bottom right.

To add a graph to a dashboard from the chat as a technical user, simply click "Add to dashboard" on the bottom right next to the graph

Simply click to open the table or query you want to use, then follow the same instructions as for the "Technical user" (above)


Adding custom queries (Technical users only)



To add a custom query to a dashboard:
Open the "Query Editor" tab in the Chat page
Enter your query and click the green play button on the top right

3. Edit, share, and refresh your dashboard.

Simply click the edit button in the top right corner, then drag and drop to rearrange items, or drag the edges to resize.



Edit individual items

To edit individual graphs and tables in your dashboard, click the options button in the top right corner of the dashboard item. This will open a list of options for this individual dashboard item.

Share your dashboard

To share your dashboard with your team, click the share button on the top right.

Share link (recommended) will provide a link to the live dashboard which you can send to your team. If they open it, they can view the live dashboard and will automatically be added to your team on BlazeSQL.
Share image will generate a screenshot of the dashboard which you can export and share as a file. This will not share a live dashboard.

Refresh your dashboard

To refresh your dashboard, simply click the refresh button in the top right corner to re-run all the queries. Alternatively, click the options button on the top right corner of an individual item and click refresh to update that item individually.
